All Plenaire tubes are crafted using 5-layer technology, chosen for their superior safety and protection. This structure has been proven highly suitable for skincare formulations, particularly in relation to sun exposure, oxygen sensitivity, and the environmental temperatures and conditions typical of tropical climates such as India.
Our multi-layer tubes offer:
Longer shelf life without unnecessary preservatives or additives,
Exceptional barrier performance: keeping formulations fresher for longer , improving shelf life and thereby drastically reducing product waste,
Fair recyclability when disposed of through appropriate local recycling channels.
EVOH Barrier (Environmental Note):
Our multi-layer tubes include a very thin EVOH layer to ensure product freshness.
Studies show that if the percentage of EVOH in plastic is kept below 6%, it remains recyclable without disrupting the recycling stream. Our Plenaire tubes fall within this threshold, ensuring compatibility with many municipal recycling systems*

Glacee Cleanser Bottle — HDPE
Our full-size Glacee bottle is made from HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) — one of the world’s most commonly recycled plastics.
Strong, long-lasting and highly stable for skincare formulations keeping your skincare formulas safe and effective.
Accepted by most urban recycling streams across India
Paired with a PP cap to maintain mono-material simplicity and improve recyclability
Glacee Mini Bottle — PET
Our travel-friendly Glacee mini uses PET, another widely recycled material known for clarity, safety, and lower environmental impact.
Lightweight for reduced carbon footprint
Recyclable in most metropolitan centres
Finished with a PP cap for compatibility with standard recycling processes in India
Serum Bottle — Frosted Glass
We use high-grade frosted glass for all Plenaire serum bottles:
Glass is Infinitely recyclable, and chemically stable.
Considered one of the most environmentally responsible packaging choices
Serum Dropper — Silicone + PP
Our droppers use:
Silicone, chosen for its durability, longevity and waste-minimising reusability.
Silicone is also chemically inert, meaning it does not shed microplastics, and has a lower environmental impact across its lifecycle compared to many conventional plastics. It can only be recycled through speciality silicone recycling streams in India at this tim.
PP components, again selected for their recyclability and lower environmental footprint
Together, these materials ensure product precision without compromising sustainability.
Our secondary packaging is made using FSC/PEFC-certified biodegradable paper, printed with:
Vegetable-based inks, water-based, solvent-free coatings, minimal foiling and use of multiple colors.
These factors make our cartons much easier to successfully recycle.
All shippers, liners and boards are fully recyclable, and our packaging has been designed to minimise excess material and reduce shipping emissions.
